Overview

Whilst SAP provides an excellent integrated business solution, it provides no lightweight EFT/POS support i.e. the ability to process payment at the point of business. Whether it’s a retail store, a Customer service centre or a mobile field service technician, Sky’s EFT/POS solutions can be deployed without the need for complex middleware or a dedicated Point Of Sale system.

 

The primary issue with a stand alone dedicated POS system is the requirement to build an extensive interface to download and upload data with SAP. This is usually a complex undertaking involving customers, materials, pricing, orders, stock levels, units of measure etc. It is also difficult to keep the data in sync e.g. if pricing changes in SAP then it needs to be automatically updated on all POS systems.

 

The Sky Point of Sale solution enables you to deploy a fully functional POS system that is fully integrated with SAP. No need for complex middleware or interfacing. EFT, POS devices, Touch screen graphical interface are all supported.
